I love how we have all these reporters on the radio and tv stations and they think people value their opinion. Honestly, I don't give a poop what John Abbott, Joey kenwars or Ian macintyre think about the Canucks, because they don't know poop about hockey.

Talbot is not a good goalie. He should be a backup in the NHL. Oilers won't do poop until they get a real starter.

I think time will tell on this one. Talbot looked pretty great for the 30+ games he filled in for Lundqvist in NYR but albeit that was in front of a pretty great top 4 NYR Defense. If Edm solidifies their top 4 dmen soon they may wait Talbot out...or they may not.

This is the year.

I have predicted that they will turn it around each of the last 3 years.

watching McDavid, Draisatl and RNH at the world championships, and expecting a decent defense core of Larsson, Nurse, Klefblom and good goaltending... I think this is finally the year they turn it around.

All good and yes it's good to hear some Canuck talk but I agree with Scooby that many put too much stock into what these Toronto transplants have to say. When Bobby Mac speaks or Elliotte Friedman, I'll listen the rest is just white noise to me.

I think Kenward and Abbot are directly employed by the Canucks.

I like Friedman and Bobby Mac when it comes to rumours and what is happening behind the scenes.

I don't agree with any of these guys all the time and just want to hear the different perspectives.

The World Cup site lists 1. Parayko, 2. Mackinnon, and 3. McDavid. So, I'm not sure what you're so pissy about.

And while I wouldn't disagree, it's not like Matthews getting a star would be some travesty either. He did lead the team in shots, and was the main driver behind Eichel's goal. If not third, fourth star would be justified.

Meh, he was pretty good. He was solid defensively, led the team in shots, and was the driver in a goal. It's not really that offensive. Like I say, I'd have McDavid there (the kid is unreal), but whatever, he had a really good game, it's not like it's out of left field. If not third, he'd probably be fourth.

It's a fricken game star anyway, who really cares? John f*&king Scott won the All star game MVP, FFS. These things don't matter. Especially in these types of games.

I agree, and I don't think there is a controversy. Miller should be the starter although I do hope they don't start the season like last year with 14 straight games or whatever it was.

I've just heard some think that it will be a 50/50 split and it sounds like it won't be to start.
