Victor Hedman is such a stud out there on defense, damn good pick by Yzerman.

Was a no brainer at the time though.

Gartieg looks solid. I think he will be Comets goalie in 2017

Very calm turns back with seconds left and beautiful break out pass.

Our lack of forward skill is very apparent.
Besides Boeser its gonna be at least 2 drafts to see improvement.

Cole Cassels, Michael Garteig made themselves visible in a real positive way imo...

Gartieg was solid👍
Want to see Cassels own the face off dot more.
For a potential future 3-4C its what i seek most.
200' play is a given & scoring a bonus.

Just got back from the game. Cassels was solid if unspectacular. Tyler Coulter was noticeable on almost every shift. Good skater and looked very solid. Laplante played a snarky game and looked generally pissed off. I liked it.

Stewart showed he belongs at this level he had a couple of outstanding shifts. Liked how he gauged his shots from the point. Very heady stuff.Valk was buzzing but didn't get much done. I'm starting to think it might be that there just aren't enough other skilled prospects to pair with him.

Stecher was good again as was Juolevi. Garteig was solid and has a good stick. A couple of times I thought he would have done better to controls the puck rather than guide it to the corner. Positionally though he was solid.

Hopefully Coulter plays well the next game. From what I saw today he looked like a kid that could get a contract.

Just finished watching the young stars game, i think management will have a tough time to send Stetcher down to Utica, Larsons going to have to really impress to beat out Stetcher and even one of Pedan or Tryamkin, which if history repeats i cant see larson winning the spot

Heh if Stecher bumps a D n we go 8 good.
Depth n competition on D is something we don't see often.
JB might be dealing a D who knows.

They are way better in their own end than I thought they would be.
