So, 8pm start, puck drop 8:10? Or dyou think they'll have a small thing at the start for the start of the series. |

8pm starts are awesome. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada (The home of Crosby!), so it will be a 9pm start for me. But when you have a 1 year old/3 year old who are normally in bed and asleep by 8:30, then a 9pm start means I don't have to miss part of the first period. STOKED |

I thought we had two Aussies. I thought Walshy was from Down Under and I don't see him post nearly as often.

Evgeny Kuznetsov was the third best in the league trailing only rookie sensation Connor McDavid (2.75), and aging sensation Jaromir Jagr (2.73). Sidney Crosby was sixth overall at 2.50. - Ryan_Wilson
Someone please explain this to me. Hagelin is listed at 2.89, so wouldn't he be above everyone and tops in the league? |

I'm a little further east so 9:30 start for me... And I'll take that any day over a 4:30 (3:00 EST) or earlier start. |

Thats probably since he joined the team, I bet his number isn't nearly that high if you factor in his anaheim numbers

Also, that chart is great and all, but was only right on 50% of the series (picked Phi, Ana, Fla, and LA to advance) so I wouldn't put much stock into it. |

Ah, gotcha.
Edit: You're right, and a footnote has been added to the chart. |

Josh Yohe threw out a very interesting stat on this morning's Morning Java. The Caps are 7-1 all time against the Penguins in Game 1s. The Penguins are 7-1 all time against the Caps in playoff series. That's just absolutely absurd. So let's not all jump off a bridge if we lose tonight |

Just goes to show that you can't predict how things will go in a best-of-seven with any accuracy at all, especially not by crunching 82 games worth of raw data. Recent play, fatigue, injuries, roster changes, etc. all come into play and, in the end, none of it matters once the puck is dropped for Game 1. |
