Today's food subject, burgers.
I do have to admit, I'm still a sucker for Peter's. I have to swing by there every time I'm in Cgy. |

I think Peters are over rated. Boogie Burgers on Edmonton trail is the best hole in the wall burger place. |

True, but one of the best burgers I've ever had was at a place called Floyd's in Victoria. |

Outside of Calgary, one of the best burgers I had was in Winnipeg at Juniors. Just a classic Diner old school burger the size of your head.
But in Calgary, Drum & Monkey and the Ship have great bar burgers. But I do really like Clive burger on 17th, even though they are pricey, but worth it |

Meh. Not a fan of the buns they're served on, that may sound nit picky. Their shakes beat Peters hands down though.
Flippin' Burgers in Kensington on the other hand. Damn. |

Perhaps we can determine the best burger argument using cuisine-Corsi?
GBR-grease drips to bite rate ratios
DR/CAL-drool accumulation per calorie intake(liters)
BSIB-Belt size increase/per burger consumed(measured by belt holes)
I haven't lived there in over 7 years, but I can say that I was never let down by a Ship burger.

Ladislav Smid isn't very good and Deryk Engelland is much worse so the Flames could certainly use a depth blue liner.
Not if you're only looking at corsi. Engellund showed a lot of improvement and managed to not completely make a mess of being on Brodie's pairing for the last half of the season.
We've had scrubs interjected into the 1st pairing (Eriksson, Zyuzin, F**king Butler) before with disastrous results and I was impressed Engelland avoided a similar fate. |

I agree with the buns, they fall apart really fast if you man handle your burger, but once you get a hold of it, you really cant put it down or else the whole thing falls apart.
Still great regardless of the bun situation |

Same. Thought it would be a no-brainer for Carolina. |

Stewart Creek Golf Club in Canmore. Ninth hole. The guy who has run that burger stop for years and years is a bit of a burger connoisseur. It's actually a little strange. But he makes all of his own sauces and sauerkraut mmm sauerkraut by the barrel. If you haven't tried it, you must! |

Stewart creek is one of my favorite courses to play, prefer it over Silvertip. I think you get more out of your money playing there with the condition of the course, the challenge of it, and the views. Hard to beat that place |

Agreed, the course reminds me a little of Trickke Creek! |

It has been, by far, my favorite course here in Alberta. If you have played, you know of the burger stop and his selection of relishes, ketchups and mustards.
Being a Colorado fan, you should try out Fossil Trace in Colorado. That was a very nice course to play. |

oh yeah, that grill is awesome. Even the hot dogs are amazing. Last time I was there I went with the Dog with mounds of caramelized onions.
I have yet to go down to Colorado for golf, but thats not a bad idea. I usually go down to Montana (whitefish area) once a summer for a golf trip. There are some unreal courses down there and you cant beat the price of booze on the course. 10 bucks for a 6 back of beer in a bag of ice....ill take 2 please |
