Sabres sign LW/RW Evan Rodrigues to 2 year deal. Love this move, guy was productive with Eichel and gives him more of an incentive to not go back to college.

It's a low risk signing. If he doesn't pan out, we don't lose anything in the process. It wasn't a failed draft pick. Some guys take longer to really develop. Though I suspect that Eichel is the sole reason for his success this year.

But like Jr said, AJ Greer could be an intriguing later round pick. I was thinking maybe 4th or 5th round if he's still there.

You're assuming that Irbe is still going to be here. It took a lot for Nolan to convince him to come back to North America in the first place. We don't know that a new coach is going to keep any of the rest of the staff on.

That is true. But if irbe or another good goalie coach is involved and the price is right I think it is worth a chance. But I don't think the price is right since they have. Nothing else promising. In that some situation who will be in roch next year? Makarov and ullmark? What about kasdorf where is he in college?

I like the fact that he, IRBE, is signed for another year and after the clean sweep it felt like Murray was good with him making his case to our new Coach/Staff, if they choose to move on, I'll probably have faith the guy is competent. But I really would hope the new staff would be impressed with what IRBE has done here.

He's played what looks like 3 years in college. Plays for RPI. His second season was only 2 games though. Not sure why. My guess would be injury. He had awesome 1st year stats, terrible 2nd year stats in the 2 games he played, and then his 3rd year stats are great but they're not terrible either.

Bennett has taken quite a few shots during this series already. He needs to learn to protect himself a bit better. One of them was him caught skating through the middle of the ice with his head down. Can't do that in the NHL if you want to last more than a few years.
