The reason this get me going is not that it's a no risk move. If bernier and gionta weren't resigned and one of Ryder Brunner or Salvador where traded and Eric Gelinas and Ryan carter where signed these camp invites wouldn't piss me off
But because Lou has willing played pooptier players over kids who where better for an entire year this scares the poop out of me. These weren't given out because Lou didn't want to be the odd team out not having any invitees they where invited because he legit thinks these guys have something to offer. If either one of these two makes the team they will be taking a spot from a younger better player. I mean our top six could use some work as it might be the oldest top six in the league so why isn't he worrying about getting a younger top six player ? He is more worried about making sure two guys who have no business being in the league have an invite to camp
