I agree. I think Murray has talked to some agents/players. Also some Gm's will be calling tomorrow I'm sure to ask if we can take on some salary. Teams like Phili and Chicago

How are you and the family my friend? Don't see you around often. Hope all is well.
- sambarugh

I am finding my way through a very difficult period right now of letting go of my Pops house.
We already sold it and have to have everything out by July 12th.
Beside that, good Sam thank you so very much for asking!
I certainly hope all is well with you.

Well, and im just guessing here, europeans?
- Sabresfan-365

Is the NHL a North american professional sports league ? That is the leagues it is compared to when people do comparisons . Not European Soccer leagues or even European Hockey leagues . Just a basic premise most use in their discussions in this forum.

Are you insane? Lol. Seems like you pay no intention to our prospects.

Here is a list possible top 6 forwards for the future for us...

Grigorenko
Armia
Reinhart
Bailey
Fasching
Baptiste
Compher
Possler
Carrier
Lemieux

- Jammerz04

Don't forget that for "the future" we will have Ennis--sold 20 goal scorer, Hodgson--I believe he could be 2nd line winger for many years to come, Stafford--under Nolan he thrives or GTFO, Stewart...just these 4 alone are not winning anything but the draft lottery, but as complementary players going forward with Girgensons and the others mentioned, I like the direction we are heading. Fasching, Compher, Baptiste, Bailey, Grigo and Armia could be lights out in 3 years. How does anyone know they will or won't?

am of the opinion that the only one with sure-fire, top-line skill is armia

Baptiste has what it takes IMO. Great speed and offensive ability, doesn't shy away from contact.

yeah...he looks like a good one...to think that murray already signed him even though he was a third rounder that the previous regime drafted...must really like him

Should be interesting in seeing how TM goes about getting anyone to play here. I guess a bunch of retreads on expensive contracts.

Great move, tank the season again, finish dead last then league will fake lotto again and at least buffalo gets number two pick again, draft Jack Eichel ...perfect plan. Trade anyone who is any good so team tanks like the 83-84 penguins. play Girgensons 22 minutes a game and watch him score 10 goals, perfect plan to suck and be leagues worst team in NHL history. Side note: Stafford is in a contract year so trade him now because we don't need him scoring 40 goals ruining the tank. Try to trade Hodgson, he is the worst hockey IQ player in the league, so terrible in D zone, move him to a Canadian team who still has memories of his great junior career.

I'm hoping Eichel somehow passes McDavid for consensus #1.

Not a chance IMO. Other than the fact that he has a better all around game, he's been hyped so hard for years, no way the team picking 1st overall next year takes anyone but him.

FIRST DUMB MOVE BY TIM MURRAY
- GERBE!!!75PTS

the more I think about it, he was probably going to retire/play in europe in another season and thus screwing the sabres cap

this move grew on me as the day went on

What i've learned is, everyone has there own version and opinion of a rebuild and if it doesn't agree with someone elses, that make's you wrong?

This blog is about opinions and that's it, just because you don't agree with some doesn't make you right or wrong or the other person right or wrong.

Me too.

I like that Murray could care less about who's on the team today, he worries about who's on the team 2-3 years from now

initially I was like WTF

now, it's ok

I think Murray has a few younger players all but locked up for free agent day

Meszaros or Niskanen on the blue line

Hemsky, Michalek, Bolland up front

I have a feeling we may land 2 of those 5 players
