Avs rookie Joey Hishon making NHL debut tonight. Taken 17th overall by Col in the 2010 draft, Hishon was concussed in the 2011 Mem Cup and missed over a full year air drying the cobwebs. Kid is a talented offensive player and interesting that Roy sees fit to introduce him tonight.

I was so proud of that team for battling back and almost pulling of the impossible. I was lucky to be at game 7 that night. Haven't experienced as much tension inside a rink as inside the Rog that night. Quiet as a morgue

Early on the PP, Toews threw the puck from the low circle on his off side, right into Luongo's feet. It went between his legs and hit the inside of his right pad and hovered on the goal line. I thought that it was just as close as the Sharp chance later on, on the PP. It's funny, I was actually content with the core, especially, battling back to send it to Game 7
