The Avalanche are can't get past center ice on the WILD. They aren't a good hockey team.

Trouble is, they are loaded with forwards who can finish and their goalie's been playing out of his mind for months.

I thought there was a decent chance Regin or Morin could play in Game 2 or 3.

Nothing changes now unless an injury or a bad loss.

My thought was Bollig would sit not Zus or Versteeg or Saad.

Kane wins Game 4 in OT 4-3 Kane/Toews back in form-Q pushes right buttons-Turnovers/mistakes +Injuries??:Fox Chicago:http://bit.ly/1iin1na.

I am not questioning Wiz after his reply. But know that I was addressing the injured Versteeg, the Versteeg many believe is not 100% recovered from his knee injury (whatever the injury was/and did it require surgery?).

We have to believe that going forward in the playoffs eventually Q would replace someone with a capable back up. But the player who would be dropped has to be not contributing in a way that really grabs Q's attention.

Versteeg apparently is doing enough things right. So judging from Wiz response Versteeg will continue to patrol his wing position.

I might have this wrong but on the Det/Bos pregame they said that last year in all of the playoffs there were 8 two goal leads blown...this year in round one there have already been 8 blown 2 goal leads...

Missing from the Ave's lineup is Barrie. He whom beat Chg twice with skate off goals.

If they say walk off home runs in baseball jargon, then I guess I can say skate off goals. Some wordsmith can take the time to come up with a better phrase.

So now we see how the Avalanche can loose if we met them in the next round, eh? Minny has throttled their attack. And a Barrie cannot save the day even if they are outplayed. I do not believe even Varlamov can stop Minny. Unless their is a deft strategic move by Roy ......the avalanche is caving in!

How do you figure that?

I don't, I depend on guys like you that go to the Rockford games for the word. Had Friend that saw him play and liked what he saw.

MacKinnon is so good but he's the only Avalanche player moving his feet. They miss Duchene and Barrie big time

Did anyone see the wide open net that Marchand missed? I don't mean half a net. He had the whole net and was about 3 feet away and missed the net. By about a foot.

Avs rookie Joey Hishon making NHL debut tonight. Taken 17th overall by Col in the 2010 draft, Hishon was concussed in the 2011 Mem Cup and missed over a full year air drying the cobwebs. Kid is a talented offensive player and interesting that Roy sees fit to introduce him tonight.
