What the (frank) is he talking about?

Blues fan down after last 2 games just wants confirmation that the fix is in from the league, that's all.

So is Morin a possibility over Versteeg? Just asking?
- jhawk59

When has Q made a change to the line-up during this series that he wasn't forced to make?

Answer that and I think you have the answer to your question.

It was great to see not only garbage goals, but also typical hawks goal by Kane set up by Johnny O. Reminds last year DET and LA series
And that 2nd line centered by Ben Smith was dangerous!

Good thing is, we'll have some fresh bodies to plug in at some point, should we go on a run. Bad news is, lot of the press boxers are losing valuable game timing.

I agree that he's a good goalie but when you are trying to be a serious contender with a fairly young group of guys, the last thing you need is a diva that distracts or hurts morale.... He's always been that...

Miller pissed off after last game.

So what. He is competitive. I just hope that it doesn't motivate him to the point where he recaptures his old form. Because he is not playing as well as he has shown a few years ago.

It may not be Miller time in St Louis this year. It may be that the Blues actually wind up singing the blues when all is said and done. As in their black and blue welts as well as their emotional state. Chg has checked and played better the last game. This should continue. The Blues gaining Backes before a game seven is doubtful IMHO since his style of play lends itself to great risk for injury to an area difficult to protect. Recovery from whiplash in every day living is not the same as being cleared for playoff hockey Backes style.

Too many plays end with Saad and Versteeg.....Saad was better but still not what he can be. Hockey 101 on the last goal and he did the right thing but space opened because Smith drove the middle and took 2 Blues with him.

Smith is a smart player. Rozy is as well--very smart with the puck. Fortunately Rozy's brain works exponentially faster than his feet. He's been a solid add.

Did I use the term impressive?

Jesus, do you think I'm arguing that Bollig deserves to be in the line-up over someone else? All I was pointing out that Bollig is able to lay a more physically harder hit than Morin. That's all it was.

If you're arguing from the point of who should be in the line-up because of performance, I guess everyone has their opinions.

Regardless of opinion, when has Q actually made a change to the line up that he wasn't forced to make in this series?

- EKolb13

Hey Eli I actually agree and really think that 4 hits in 6 minutes is impressive, it's almost hit per minute I didn't use red font

Any word on Sobotka today ? He looked like a crushed beer can after Bickell opened the bomb doors on him.
- philco28

I just saw the replay of the hit on Youtube. I'm wondering if he suffered a concussion? He looks like he's in the mystical world of Wakey Wakey Backes.

It was WONDERFUL. Perfect psychological boost at the perfect time in the series.
It was a PLEASURE to see the boys hang a Cup L on Pronger's resume.

I personally don't care that he's pissed when he's losing (not my teams goalie) but you don't take it out on your team. You own up to your shortcomings and move forward. The thing about Miller is that he doesn't own it. He get's really pissy and selfish and as a result hurts the overall morale of his team.

This is true. However, when your team wins two straight, is it time to cycle in a couple of guys that have been sitting? Especially when the series is even up and the whole thing is still at stake?

I would have thought Q would have yanked Handzus after Game 1. That didn't happen, so I'm not holding my breath any longer waiting for Q to make line-up changes.

Anyways, the choices are Regin and Morin. Both players haven't ever suited up for an NHL playoff game. While I like both of them, and both bring different attributes to the game, the lack of experience (especially with Morin) doesn't leave me feeling overly confident sticking them in the line-up. At least not now. Not in this series, anyway.

If the Hawks do move onto the 2nd round and face Colorado, maybe a change is made there? I can see Handzus having problems keeping up with a speedy team.

Jesus, is Miller pulling that crap?

It's going to get interesting if the Blues bow out to the Hawks. If Miller is that pissed, maybe he finds a new home this summer? Elliott is a UFA too.

That could create a black hole in goal for the Blues next season.

Indeed EK....barring injury or any more suspensions...think we see the same lineup from here on out in this series. If we advance...who knows what Q will do.
