Better than something! Boy what a dismal attempt on the end of a long road trip. Well home against the Leafs who played worse than us last night. Maybe Coop should show the Panthers tape to the players on how to make the Leafs look ridiculous for both ends of their Florida vacation.
Well with Stammer back this weekend I'd say the Bolts did the job during the 39 games 45 points and still second in the division. At this point 26 games left and if playing only .500 the remainder of the way they're in. A tough 4 games away after the break then home for 14 out of the last 20. I'd say they did great as a team with everyone saying they'd collapse like a wet taco.

i'm glad we are approaching the end of a stamkosless tampa bay team (hopefully) , things haven't seemed right for a stretch now, they haven't played to the best of their abilities in a while now , maybe the break came just at the right time for some guys because its just been hovering around .500 our last 10-15 games...I think it's time to press the reset button and finish this stretch off with a huge stretch of wins, you can bet your ass stamkos is going to come back fired up and ready to make a run deep into the playoffs, marty and stamkos are going to heat up and peak at the perfect time.. like stamkos said, this team could do something special this year , but not by the hockey we've been playing

Sorry to Steven but this is great news for the Bolts. I don't care what anyone says, the extra time off to heal will do wonders for the stretch run not to mention there is less risk of a re-injury while playing in Sochi

I'm sorry for him, because it may be his only Olympic chance with no NHLers in Olympics again til at least 2026. And I kind of figure he'd not have set this as his goal if it weren't for that. I'm glad he left it to the doctors and they are not being pushed to clear him unwisely. He's a special player and I'd hate to see anything long-term bad result from coming back too soon.
