I made my 2nd visit to the east coas these holidays, tbucks county (richboro) to be exact to visit my GF's family and the day before i was supposed to fly back to Vegas it was 14 degrees... Saw snow for the 3rd time in my life, all i could think of is how people could live in a place like this? 14 degrees? are you kidding me...

and then i thought if it's cold here in PA can you just imagine America's Hat?

use a butter knife on your throat, because I don't believe it, Yandle is a top tier defenseman, JVR wasn't a top tier forward at the time.
I believe JVR could have maybe brought in one of their younger guys, but ot an established top tier guy

it got pretty hot this summer... but if given the choice i rather be hot than cold, having to wear 3-4 layers of clothing ain't my thing nor is not being able to feel some of my body parts, neither is having to shovel my drive way or driving in icy roads

That is SO rare here, though. First time in 15 years it was cold enough for my shearling hat. And with the right layers, not that cold. But I couldn't handle what goes on in Canada. My asthma would kick in.

I played on a mens league team in Manhattan about 10 years ago and one of my linemates was a guy from Edmonton. He told me stories that absolutely blew my mind.

my dad sent me an email this morning
he was flying back from visiting me out here in cali and he got stuck in chicago thursday and friday. Southwest wasn't able to fly him back to RI until Tuesday, so he said screw it and rented a car and drove from Chicago to RI.

Yeah, might as well at that point...The weather out here has been atrocious...Thursday, Friday & Saturday we were in the teens, with a -7 Wind chill...today, got up to 50, tomorrow is going to be in the 40's and then Tuesday it's supposed to be 12.
