Should be a good one. Hoping the Avs can get an early one to open the whole game up a bit. |

Kings are notorious slow starters in 1pm games so I think that's the Avs best chance.

I wouldn't say 2-2-1 is good, but it's not bad either.
2014:
Colorado - L 1-0 (ot)
2013:
Chicago - L 5-2
Colorado - W 4-1
Vancouver - L 1-0
Edmonton - W 4-1 |

True, it's not bad. You'd hope for 5-0 but you can't have everything right |

Jason, thanks for your write ups. They're excellent to read. On a side note I thought Jason Pominville led with his chin and was not in control when he met Brown. Brown isn't planning to hit him in the jaw, he's bracing for the hit on himself. It's a penalty but shouldn't have been a suspension in my book. Anyway thanks again. |

Really? Wow, guess you don't actually watch a lot of 'the league' then. You should try to have a clue before you opine...just sayn'! |

This is hilarious coming from you considering Shane Doan cheap shots Ducks smaller players every chance he gets. |

If he is the dirtiest player in the league, he must have the most friends in the Player Safety Officer.
He Plays hard and if you're not paying attention he'll knock the snot out of you. This was an accident. He was clearly skating away from Hertl, something Hertl should have tried to do himself.

Hey can you guys clear this up for me?
Quick goes down to injury, and all Ben Scrivens does in relief is put up the second lowest GAA in the league, as well as the highest PCT. in the league, and he gets benched.
Now I know Jones has played extremely well, but then Nick Kypreos intimated that the reason Sutter started to go with Jones to begin with was because of some tweet that Scrivens put out there.
Is that true? And if not, why did Sutter START to use Jones to begin with (I can understand why he keeps starting him). |

Fail on all counts, except for the favoritism from the league.

Torres is known for being a dirty player because that is the style he plays, he has been fined and suspended many times for large amounts. If he doesn't like it, maybe he should try to stop and actually play hockey. To attempt to equate Torres to Brown only shows your complete ignorance on the matter. |

Jones is a rookie, I don't know if Sutter knows what Twitter is, let alone cares what it said... Half of the Kings players are chirping people on Twitter anyway, Scrivens is probably the least of his problems. He waited for a while to play Jones, I don't think he was really planning on it at all until he saw how he played. Why take out someone who keeps winning? Jones will be sent down when Quick returns regardless, might as well let him get as much experience as possible while he's winning before letting him go back to the minors again.

Uhhhhhh, yeaaa, riiiiight. Hmmmmm, seem to remember a certain Ryan Clowe blatantly cheating in one game, then lying about it, and receiving no discipline.... yep, no favoritism there..... |

Completely agree. Scrivens will be traded later this season since he is a UFA at the end of the season. Sutter is known to ride the hot goalie. Jones came in to give Scrivens a break and has just been excellent. |
