And then there is the Stafford to Washington deal that wasn't submitted before the deadline (supposedly). Anyone think that is still on the table?

The first part is acquiring the rebuilding pieces, that seems to be in the right direction. The second and tougher part is cashing in on the draft picks, Sabres still need a new guy for that.
