Maybe you can get Stastny at the deadline but again he is a ufa at years end. - blizzzard
I don't think our GM is that fond of Stastny. |

And then there is the Stafford to Washington deal that wasn't submitted before the deadline (supposedly). Anyone think that is still on the table?
And if so, for what? - Jawallstar1
Staff/Staff and 2nd for Johansson would make me quite happy |

Homer said the Isles offered Moulson & a 1st this summer
Looks like Darcy held out for the 2nd - jdfitz77
Hold out a month, get another second. Win. |

That first round pick will most likely be in the middle of the first round. Yakupov is a first overall there is a huge difference - Cheeseballin
Not when he isn't in the good graces of the organization. There is a red alert that goes off is a team if offering up a former first overall pick (allegedly) |

I would like to keep Moulson and have him for our rebuild, we can pay him if he wants to be involved in the rebuild or retool. - SABRES 89
Like I said either way. If he wants to stay, awesome good veteran scorer that can help mentor our finesse players while Ott mentors our grit players. (If Ott resigns) If he does not want to stay, deadline trade fodder for picks.

Gotta reach the cap floor somehow. It wouldn't surprise me if he did resign. It also wouldn't surprise me if he was moved at the deadline for another 1st either. |

4 1sts this year including a top 2 pick
poopty draft but still, its nice.
If Darcy is smart, he takes on other people's garbage for the rest of the season to give them cap space for other moves. Free draft picks for Pegula's money |

The first part is acquiring the rebuilding pieces, that seems to be in the right direction. The second and tougher part is cashing in on the draft picks, Sabres still need a new guy for that. |

I just figured he would be cheap cause he is considered a rental and is likely a number 1 on most teams and should be on the Sabres. |

Miller to the Preds for Forsberg if Rinne is out long. - SABRES 89
No way they even consider that. Pred's need a prospect like Forsberg. They got Hellberg brewing. Pred's arent gonna go after a big trade for a goalie. They will find a fa or a euro guy. |

Wait to see how he does with Hodgson instead of JT before you offer him a dollar. I predict a first and a prospect |
