I like the Sulzer signing. He's a great depth d-man that can play both ends of the ice well. He's like a more polished version of Nathan Paetsch.

I don't think Darcy is going to trade any Dmen. Not after Sekera. He's just gonna rotate these guys around and keep them in case of injury.

Maybe Rolston plans on switching from a 3 forward-2 d-men formation to a 2 forward-3 d-man. 2 or 3 more Defenders to sign and we can play with 3 men back and 2 up front.

I think Sulzer should be there because he's better right now. Ruhwedel doesn't deserve anything. He played a handful of games. Sulzer is a proven commodity. Probably playing at his potential already. Some of the younger guys have higher ceilings, but they are farther from them. Sulzer deserves a spot. Ruhwedel deserves time to develop.

I love how you guys say Zadorov isn't ready yet. We won't know that till training camp. Any player has the chance to make the team if they earn it.

They didn't ditch Kessel or Seguin, they made choices to make deals that in the case of Kessel bettered their team and with Seguin didn't weaken them whatsoever while staying within the cap. Sometimes you need to make choices on who you keep, do you keep Seguin or Rask, the Bruins choose Rask.

It all depends. it's a 2-way contract so if someone like Ruhwhedel or McNabb or even Risto ( or even all 3) really struggle we have Sulzer. I didn't like Sulzer that much, not a fan of Pardy but liked him better than Sulzer. But IMO this organization is either making a big trade, or they don't have faith in a few of the young guys
