I agree to a point. You can't throw these kids to the wolves. Losing night in night out can damage a kids development more than having to start in Rochester

Winning or losing has nothing to do with player development. I dont see the kids in edm getting any worse.

The reason they are in rochester is to play more minutes where they have a chance to work on their game.

That's flat out wrong. A young players psychie has more to do with their development than almost every aspect of the game. A player can have all the tools but if their heads aren't in the right frame it's useless. Case in point see Mark Mancari. He has all the tools but his head wasn't right when he first started here. Now he is an AHL regular and will be for the rest of his career.

Edit: also Edmonton wasn't a team just full of rookies. They had their veteran presence to help with the mental aspects of the game. The 3 "vets" we have one Miller and Vanek are gone can't handle the entire roster

Which is really sad, seeing as how he'll be getting first line minutes with the state of our current roster

Psychie is important you say but you thinking sitting them in the press box is better for their psychie the giving them 8 minutes a game and the opportunity to work on positioninng one on one opportunities and defence....in a game situation

actually go back and read the order of posts and see who turned into a douche.

I like the Sulzer signing. He's a great depth d-man that can play both ends of the ice well. He's like a more polished version of Nathan Paetsch.

I don't think Darcy is going to trade any Dmen. Not after Sekera. He's just gonna rotate these guys around and keep them in case of injury.
