On a different subject I'll make a hockey related comment. It really sucks to see that almost every team in the NHL able to make trades and sign free agents. It seems like the flyers get in on everyone, sign and make trades etc. I guess nobody really does want to play in Edmonton and they can never hire mgmt. able to make necessary trades. If this keeps up oilers won't improve.

52P in 62GP last year? Not many 19YOs have .75PPG in their first 100 games.

+/- for one. What about being drafted 1st overall? Nuge has 1st line potential and Coutuirer has shown what???? he can be a 3rd liner???? 6'4'' and he doesn't hit not to mention.

There were deals IMO, but it was over priced and could have done more harm to the team than good.

won;t happen... whatever trade happens will be an overpayment... fans won;t be happy.... not trading is sticking with "untouchables" lowe and mac t are just as scared as clouts to trade them.

Clowe is #1 on my list. legit enforcer that can play in the top 6. Maybe you have to over pay. But remember what Prust did for the Canadians. IMO the oil can use some of that. Clowe could make tons of room for Eberle and Nuge out there on a line.

I like that pick. I called it months ago. I also said we'd go hard after Ference and Horton and I still hope we land them both. There's still plenty of time. A lot of teams have a lot of holes to fill and not a lot of cap space to work with. I'm glad MacT didn't pull the trigger on some stupid trade for the sake of making a trade. We just have be patient. This team is gonna look a lot different to start the year. I also wouldn't mind us taking a run at Bozok if he hits the open market. But if he wants 8 years @ 5 mill he too can suck my balls.
