Most Avs fans believed we would have to buyout David Jones and that he was Un-tradable.

You guys got dumped on hardcore, and O'Brien has two years left on his deal as well.

I guess technically they got younger, but Jones is turning 29 this summer, hardly a spring chicken. I wouldn't exactly call this a youth movement.

Don't mind this trade. Nothing earth shattering, but with Tanguay wanting out not bad. Get Jones who is he gets going is going to be very valuable.

People talk about Bickell need to look at Jones with a buyer beware.

Tanguay was a UFA that signed with Calgary 3 years ago for a million bucks when nobody wanted him

What can you guys tell me about Sarich?

He hits hard. Had a real good series against Marleau a few yrs back with 2 brutal checks.

I think this is pretty much a wash too. Jones definitely had an off year, but he's still pretty young and he's a big physical guy. Change of scenery might be exactly what he needs. SOB is a younger version of Sarich.

Tanguay's obviously the most productive player in the deal, but he doesn't want to be here through a rebuild.

In all we get younger and bigger, both are objectives for this team right now. We also add a RW and fill a hole in the lineup.

I'm ok with it.
