I agree so much with this.
Have said it before and will say it again. Shero said changes were coming. I'm hoping it was something different than not resigning Kennedy, Jeffrey, Murray, Morrow, Iggy; trading Niskanen or Engelland. We have the same coach back; we will probably have the same goalie back (Mr. Confidence problem in the play-offs). So, where is this change? The only way to change this roster is deal Letang. If he is back, I see the same old poop in the play-offs happening. - Oneonta Penguin
Combine Bylsma's system with his irrational personnel choices and I don't see the "change" either. Swapping out 3rd and 4th liners won't be putting them over the top. Throw out the disaster against Boston, that Isle series exploited everything that's wrong with Disco. They were the better team in 4 of 6. If they had a tender, Disco would be gone. |

i respect him, and would take him on the pens, but for a guy who scored single digits this year, god thats a ton - stayinthefnnet
At least we now know he can produce in the right position. Never thought high of him but would change a bit our way of "signing safe" for once. |

Bickell reminds me a little of clarkson. First/second line guy who gets those dirty goals. |

Pens plan to qualify Jeffrey and Kennedy - Deadstar
Does that mean we have to match their actual salaries? |

I'd be OK with Kennedy coming back, but not at 2 bills. |

Kennedy wasnt qualified last time and was more of an asset. This was less of a slam dunk. Jeffrey was a qualify formality |

I separated my shoulder during a beer league game and couldn't leave the bench after that. It wasn't even that painful (that night), but I just couldn't lift my arm or really move it at all. And this guy is winning faceoffs in a Stanley Cup Final game.... |

I'd do the same for my team, even if I wasn't getting paid. For the love of the game I'm sure he was able to play just fine. You have time to fix your little problems in the off season. Many players do that. |

The 1 guy I grew to like in that Boston series was Bergy. Hell of a player. |

That'd not even talking about the broken rob which makes it painful to breathe. I just can't comprehend playing through those injuries. He's earned my respect. |

Well they'll qualify just so they retain his rights to move him... He isn't getting a qualifying offer to play on the pens |

Yeah, I won't hand pick any guy in particular to symbolize what hockey is all about. They are pretty much all warriors and give it all on the ice. I wish we could add a couple hard nosed guys to our roster. |

Its a somewhat risky move. He could very well sign that 1 year $2 million deal. Or not and elect for arbitration which is even worse. |

Damn, can't believe the season is over. Draft on sunday (could be the last of Letang), Camp opens in 13 weeks. It's Shero time, congrats to the Hawks.
#StillToewsoverStaal.....The one I will always regret! Hindsight.
Can't wait to see what next season brings. |
