I was exaggerating on his strike out and hits numbers to make my point that its either home run or bust for Dunn. - Ryan_Wilson
Gunner, just to make a comparision: how was Griffey Jr.'s numbers compared to Dunn's, in % strikeouts, hits..?
Btw, you caught me on that one. I believed in your 10K stat |

Here are Dunn's real stats http://www.baseball-refer.../players/d/dunnad01.shtml
As far as Griffey, he should never be in the same sentence as Dunn. Griffey is one of the best players of all time as far as I'm concerned. One of the easiest to like too. |

Kennedy wont be back. - Deadstar
Damn, I keep thinking he has a year left, totally forgot he is an RFA. I'd love to keep him for the right price, however some team would overpay or sign him. If someone sends an offer sheet of 1.6 mil or higher then we get at least their 2nd round pick. |

I think it's safe to say that no team is going to "offer sheet" TK. Maybe he'll bring the Pens a 3rd or 4th rounder... |

The Penguins didnt qualify Kennedy the last time he was up as an RFA. |
|
|
|
Seeing as how he'd be qualified at 2.2 million, Im guessing they dont qualify him again. And he'll actually field UFA offers and someone will offer more than us |

For sure. Griffey Jr. is my favorite player ever in baseball. No wonder, I'm a Mariners fan.
I didn't know he was born in Donora, PA. It's pretty close to Pittsburgh. |

He was a good third liner for the Pens but I think it's the end of the road. |

A lot hinges on Letang's deal...and the impact of a trade... A qualifying offer might be made he'll probably reject it and try to negotiate an RFA deal again. |

He was very under appreciated. He fits into the lineup of a ton of teams. Just dont see his salary fitting here unfortunately |

Baseball was better when everyone was juiced. Now its only good for an excuse to hang out and drink beer with a bunch of ppl around. Not much to see.
Kennedy is gone, he cant play to his skill level. He always tries to do more than what hes capable of. |

With him being a RFA, adding him to a hypothetical letang deal would only boost the value. |

I always thought the criticism was humorous. Although this was a down year for him. |

And I could see Kennedy contributing to whoever acquire him. He has all the tools to be the new Talbot. We could miss him somehow. |

@Real_ESPNLeBrun: From colleague @CraigCustance, Patrick Roy tells him right now Avs would pick MacKinnon with 1st pick, http://t.co/IjaqIynIAo
Don't the Avs desparetly need defense? |

Not that I believe anything GMs and executives say right before the draft, but when you have the #1 pick you take the best player, not need. |

Isn't the best player Seth jones? I mean how can you really tell who the better player is when they are so very close in skill and 2 completely different positions. A situation like that I would think you take what you need |

They will both be good but you can't coach MacKinnon's raw skill, it's something you have or you don't, he has it. |

Malone is a pass for me. I might think otherwise if they get him dirt cheep.
I have to admit, I'm really disappointed that Bylsma is coming back. Was reading some stuff on TIOPS and It leads me to believe we'll see a repeat of our playoff failures next year regardless of what the roster looks like. - madmike71
Yea I'm not feeling real good about this teams makeup as a playoff team and few adjustments can be made. Bylsma's system isn't going to work without more reliable defense. Add that to his refusal to develop young guys as long as he has grunts drives me crazy.
When you sign Malkin, Letang, and Crosby you need to use prospects. I feel bad for Doumilin this year because he's going to sit if he even makes the team. I would love to see Shero step in and say that the young guys need to play all regular season. |

He was just ridiculous all season and was even more unreal during their playoffs |

Well, I think Colorado is failing at taking the best player if they take MacKinnon.
