I agree Mike, I even posted the buyout numbers a little while ago and said it ain't happening, I don't think Carlyle has plans for him though, only option is to trade and that may be difficult.

Grabo's future is in his own hands...up to him what he does with it. Carlyle gave him a job to do...someone had to do it and Carlyle fealt he was the right guy for the job - today. Doesn't mean he's stuck there forever. He just has to figure a way to play beyond that role. Colbourne logically should be the replacement for him in that role - perhaps allowing Grabo to graduate. But Grabo has to watch he doesn't let a "Colbourne" bypass him. I don't care that he isn't scoring goals or what he's paid for the rest of this year as long as they keep winning. Grabo has another gear - we've all seen it, and he will be a pain in the A$$ for opponents if they make the playoffs.

I was high on Grabovski that he would be a good offensive weapon but with all the good Carlyle has done, his biggest mistake may have been trying to make him a shutdown/defensive centre.

RC had no choice. Bozak was simply better with JVR and Kessel at the start of the season.

Plus Grabs isn't a Nonis signing, so it's not like he owes him any patronage

It wasn't a mistake, he got outplayed plain and simple. Maybe they could try him on the wing, but he absolutely looks lost out there. He has simply been pushed out by a younger better player

Grabo is more of the scoring type of centerman. I relate him more to Jeff Carter. The guy can play center and on the wing. He is a C/RW. And that is how Carlyle should treat him, as both
