Yeah that would be my arguement against it.

In general, I am just not buying into the Hyundai hype of the last couple years. Every Hyundai I have driven feels very cheap. It feels even cheaper than my Altima, and that is saying something (don't much like my Altima).

So Jake Gardiner is quoted in the Toronto Star today saying about his lack of playing time, "I'm not sure what is going on". Carlyle's response was described by the writer, Kevin McGrann, as "unapologetic", that he essentially would not put him in a position he would be "unable to survive".

I have to say I appreciate Carlyle's approach here, even though Gardiner and his agent clearly do not.

he's challenging Jake to show him something that he hasn't seen from him before. You know, if Jake threw a bodycheck his next game, even if he didn't do it right, Carlyle would probably say, there, he's buying in. If he blocked a shot, same response. Carlyle strikes me as a coach who isn't hard to win over. Maybe 3 years ago it was different, but I don't think he's as set in his ways as being made out by the media. I actually think Carlyle likes Gardiner, he jsuse wants to see more from him.
