Koivu and Selanne are retiring after this season, that I'll make a bet on.
Cogliano is nothing close to a 2nd line C IMO.
Anyway, the fact is Hiller being in Anaheim is pointless. They take a backup goalie in Scrivens and get a 2nd line C in Grabo while giving up a project forward in Kerdiles.
With the signing of Getz and Perry it goes to show that Anaheim doesn't want to rebuild but compete. Having small little Cogliano as a 2nd line C won't get you into the SCF that's for sure.
Plus, the contract is short term and allows for Holland to develop at a good pace. If they need to get rid of his contract then I'm sure they'll be able to.
