Grabo has been a favourite of mine over the last few seasons for his drive and willingness to sacrifice his body to make plays. I couldn't wait to see him in the "_______" - rhymes with dayoffs. |

Aside from his wrist problems he's done well enough in the AHL (slightly less than a ppg) to justify giving him 3rd line duty.
He has to start somewhere at this level, and this is the best way to go about it.
I think Carlyle will really like his size - AngryWhiteMale
I'm fine with him playing 3rd line.Like you said gotta start somewhere. I'm still a 3rd line checking line believer though so I wanna see McClement there.

Bozak is definitely worth the 5.5 whereas Grabs is nowhere near earning it. - tmlfan69

McClement plays wing too.
He's flexible enough that we don't have to pigeon-hole him into the lineup |

Having the option to play with 30 teams And choosing leafs ( thank you Burke) and having true friend on his line of whom he has decent chemistry . It's safe to suggest bozak has desire to stay,he gets 4 years @ 18 million offer from leafs . Will this be enough who knows what other teams will value him at .
Kadri: leafs are handcuffed . And they won't do a bridge contract like subban. 4-5 year deal there approx 22-27 million .grabovski if unable to bring in significant piece in offseason which is no guarentee ,Could very well stick around. |

Not bloody likely.
Plus we're a good road team too so it's not like we have a real preference of home/road advantage.
We'll get enough blue bums in the Bell centre if we went the distance for a game 7.
Hell I actually think I'd pay up the bum to go to a game. Even a cheap game 3 ticket at the ACC would run 400$ - AngryWhiteMale
Good road team for sure, but not in Boston. IMO, Boston is the best team in the East by quite a bit (especially with Sid injured).
I don't think anyone is afraid to play the Pens in the 1st round, they're vulnerable right now. Suspect d and goaltending, average offense with Crosby out. |

Worst case scenario is that Grabs sticks around for one more year to prove himself. If we can't find suitors then we buy out the last 3 years of his deal as opposed to 4 years at the end of this year.
Agree with Bozak: 4-4.5. I bet he really likes playing here. He wouldn't have signed here if he didn't.
Kadri will be tough, but a deal will be had |

I obviously have no way of knowing this, but I feel like he absolutely relishes playing and Toronto and being a big shot in the city. That and being best friends with Phil makes me think he takes a deal like the one you have proposed above. I think 4 per should be max, but if its 4.5 a year, that's not a big deal. |

Grabo cant produce on third line but kadri and bozak have earned their spot. Time for grabo to move on. - maplereefer420
I think the opposite Kadri and Bozak playing on a checking line would cost RC his job.
Grabo could do what Bozak does with his eyes glued shut ( except winning faceoffs ), but why would they break up the 3 amigos. RC I'm thinking is hoping with Grabo checking he could hopefully put up some points too...but I doubt he is expected especially playing against the likes of Crosby/Stamkos etc etc that's only my opinion from watching every game for the last 4 years. ( some more drunken than others ) |
