I was just watching the Rangers stanley cup story on the NHL network, and Richter was talking about the Messier game 6 guarantee game when they went down 2-0. Richter said he didn't even want to look at the bench after the second goal because he was afraid Keenan was going to take him out. And then he played probably best game I have ever seen.

On Mcilrath.. Not sure if it was mentioned, but he was injured for the first half of the season or so, then suspended for another 3 games (lol). Wont see him this year, and im not so sure he makes the team out of camp next year. Im sure he'll get a look though.
