I remember watching the draft with you the year they took pavel brendl and how excited you were. What a let down

That was a project that fella

Between being a Rangers & Jets (football) fan I've seen many a bad draft. You just never know. McIlrath was immediately called a bad pick by everyone but Clark had him pegged as they're guy for months & obviously held it close to the vest.

None of us knew about Jessimen being a softie or Claude Girioux being the man when we picked Sangs ahead of him. All a crap shoot, always has, always will be.

Look at how many teams passed on Shea Weber.

By the way, I still remember the draft when the Jet's chose Kyle Brady over Warren Sapp. The reaction was funny as hell. Sometimes the fans do know best.

I just wish there was a way to get rid of Brad Richards ...Becoming the new Drury, minus a "C" on the front of his jersey...

Don't really want to move Gaborik either.

It was amazing, I was following Brendl all year long that year in juniors and couldn't believe we got him.

Some guys just don't have heart and that does't show on stats sheet

Tonights line up: 5 UFA's, 5 players acquired via trade, 8 draft picks/homegrown and 1 waiver claim.

And when Staal gets back its 9 draft picks/homegrowns.....not bad for the Rag$$$$

No way has he become that bad, this is the same guy that was very clutch in the playoffs, I find it hard to believe that this team makes a run and he isn't a major part, I still believe in him.....Gaborik on the other hand.

Jesper Fasth may be on his way soon, HV71 is losing their elimination game so far.

I feel like Richards is heading that way, especially in relation to the $$$ he is making...

I just wish Gaborik would get a hatty because then he'd jump up to our highest goal scorer for the season... that's all it would take to save him, kinda-ish, I believe.

Would like to add that Nash is a beast and I love him. Dearly.

Also... On the side... I'm lucky enough to be travelling from New Zealand over to Las Vegas next month!! Do they have cheap NHL jerseys in Vegas... well, just jerseys in general? Thanks in advance.

Richards has a long ways to go before I put him in Drury category. Richards is still a premier playmaker IMO. Is he having a down season so far yes but I will give him a longer leash. Yo all I want is a nice 4-0 win tonight. Is that so much to ask for? I think Gabby and Nash have a field day with that Panthers defense. I am not going to the game tonight but I got Nash down for 2, Gabby down for 1, and Kreider down for 1. Let's get the job done tonight.

Another Dreger report saying that the Rangers are talking alot with the Sharks. Not to mention, they have been scouting the beejesus out of each other all year long.

We all have discussed the obvious Boyle and Clowe rumors, but I wouldn't be surprised if the two teams have had some conversations about Pavelski. He becomes an Unrestricted Free Agent after next year, and the Sharks have mentioned that they want to get younger. I can see the Rangers having interest, because his salary is at a fairly economical $4 million a year.

Again, I am not saying this is even likely, I'm just throwing out a name they could be discussing other than the obvious Clowe, Boyle, Murray rumors.

I would love for Gabby to get a Hat Trick tonight that way his trade value goes up. I love Gabby but I think we have an opportunity to move him and get much needed value in return. Just my 2cents.
