I think he was, I have actually always heard he was first on the ice last to leave guy - jimbro83
Hopefully he plays pissed and comes out FLYING. Who sits by the way? |

How about sticking Derek Roy between Kreider and Miller, and moving Pyatt to the fourth line. You would obviously then have a log jam on the fourth line, but I am sure the Rangers can find a move to cull the fourth line herd. - Pete V
Derek Roy is not tough enough to play on the 3rd line. He has a great amount of skill, but not enough jam. |

With Haley going back down, the fourth line will probably be Pyatt-Halpern-Powe, right? |

Depends upon what type of third line you want. If you are planning on playing Chris Kreider and JT Miller there long term, don't you think those guys would benefit from a good set-up man. Also, the second line has plenty of jam, so perhaps that makes up for it.
I get your point, but I want to do whatever is necessary to maximize Kreider and Miller's changes of succeeding. |

If the Rangers didn't have Stepan, I would certainly like the idea of adding Roy. He's crafty and a skilled passer. |

If Kreider can be 2012 Kreider... then we are 1 offensive piece (a center) away. And I'd have the lines totally scrambled to 3 balanced lines. Something like
Hags-Step-Nash
Kreider-Richards-Gaborik
Miller-TBD-Cally
Just scamble those top 9 how you wish and constantly rotate. Let Nash Cally and Gaborik ALL play on the right. And just roll em. Just need Kreider to be good enough to warrant rollign 3 lines. Then Gabby can play RW. |

They want Miller playing Wing. Roy wouldnt be a terrible pick. |

Gaborik would be the odd man out. Certainly making it more of a possibilty for him to be traded. God I hope San Jose and Detroit are on his list. Both could bring back some decent pieces. |

This is why I was a huge supporter of a trade for Steve Ott in the off-season, hes the perfect 3rd line center, but his price was steep... as was Paul Gaustad when he was available. Those 3rd line centers dont come cheap. |

Or maybe Brassard would be another decent option. Personally, I would prefer a center to another winger. It is going to be interesting to see what these guys will cost -- Roy, Ribiero, Brassard. |

Get well soon Glen!
I think Ryan Clowe (or someone of his ilk) would go a long way towards creating room on the ice for some of the Rangers other forwards. I keep waiting for Brian Boyle to toughen up and take that role, but he sort of comes and goes... - AECH.

Well he's coming off 6 months off. Honestly if #1 goalies can't play 90% of games this season they're pusses. By the Stanley cup finals they will have only played arguably 65 games which is normal anyway |

The playoffs have begun and they have an extra day off before Sunday, probably went into Torts' thinking...you need points, no time to Richard around... |
