I don't understand why all the hate is focused on just Gaborik. Nash has been average as of late. Richards plays well for a game or two and then is back to being mediocre. Hell, most of the lineup has been playing sub par. There are few exceptions, but everyone needs to be better. Everyone. |

Gaborik and Richards combined 13 goals...yea, I'll stick with those two being the main culprits than anything else. - MidnightMarauder
Offensive players need to play in an offensive system. Nash isn't exactly lighting it up either.

Does Gaborik look right shooting from that side of the ice? He is not a left winger. He is a right winger, and he is simply not comfortable on that side. He is playing like crap, don't get me wrong, but he has not been put in the position to succeed either.
Taking a guy that has played right wing his entire career, scored 40 twice in the last 3 years, and then making him play the left side is inexplicable. Nash plays the left side better than Gaborik. |

Fair enough, Richards is the player I despise the most on this team. Problem is, we are stuck watching this loser play for many years. Contract is not movable and they can't buy him out, would make no sense to. |

I really don't get it either. You take away Gaborik from this game and there is really nothing to watch. Gaborik needs to stay on this team! Plain and simple. |

No one is immune anymore. Girardi even looks spent. Hank wasn't himself either tonight.

25 points in 26 games is fine with me. You can't complain with a point per game average |

There is no room on the right side anymore, with Nash and Callahan occupying that side.
Just trade him now before his stock hits rock bottom. |

Because under Torts they dont teach offense. - DONMURDOCH14
Teach offense? These are pro hockey players...Richards is a Conn Smythe winner and Gabby at least was a prolific goal scorer, you can have Jack Adams himself in here...I doubt anything gets done. I'm not saying Torts doesn't deserve his fair share of the blame. If this were a baseball team we would want the hitting coach fired...we have been through this before, if they let him go I will certainly understand it, if they keep him I will certainly understand it but they have to make a decision about what to do here...its quickly becoming a wash of a season...like i said 92-93. Maybe Staal getting hit in the face is this years equivalent of Leetch injuring himself stepping out of a cab...
Trautwig just said, 8 shots by Gabby, 1 goal, at least he scored, where was everyone else?? |

This, Murdoch is just on a blame everything on Tortorella campaign.
Players that get paid like Richards and Gaborik do get zero empathy form me. Score, you sacks of sh!t |

So, what to do? Can't fire the players. I don't see any trade helping. Next is to fire Torts. he's spent

Hank made some great saves and kept them in the game.
See that above sentence, it is a broken record, this team has nothing offensively. |

Really? This team should be up there with Pitt and Boston. 500 is what they should not be. |

Maybe they should spread the top six over 3 lines instead of 2. Gabby on the right on a more balanced 3 rd line. |

(frank)ing pathetic.
45 shots on goal, how many tough saves did markstrom make? Maybe 5? - TrueBlue9182
Maybe, the Rangers shoot in the goalie's crest better than any team in the league though.
Is there a stat for that? |

Bingo...paid professional athletes, get the job done...coaches get way too much credit and way too much blame when they lose...i have nothing else to say. I am not a baseball fan so I will have nothing until the NFL starts again, I need my break b/c my pro sports teams suck! |
