I personally think that it was a borderline call. After watching it about 5-6 times I didn't think it was even a penalty. Then on one angle you see his shoulder/elbow follow through so I assumed that there was more to it than I could see.. Maybe I need to see a different angle.

He won't get anything because he's a Leaf and he just got back from a long injury..

I refuse to believe there was intent, that's not Lupuls MO. I think he was just trying to keep the pedal down on a 4-0 game and make a statement.

Since coming back from injury he's been doing damn near everything he can to pump up his teammates and the fans. In my opinion he should have the C. I don't dislike Phaneuf I just don't see him get the fans and team going like Lupes does.
