We would be firing everyone, even you. Trading everyone Crosby included and burning the CEC to the ground to dance on the ashes.

Does Dupuis really need to be on the third line. I know he only like an 80 on NHL13 but in terms of the actual NHL his chemistry and familiarity with Crosby make him like an 8000 overall.

It's the best (frank)ing line in the NHL right now. It doesn't need a sexy name.

I don't like breaking up a good thing on the first line. Chemistry means alot to me.

It means a lot to players like Crosby too. Why do you think he struggled at the Olympics. He had no chemistry with Nash, Iginla, or whoever else they put with him. He was used to playing with Bergeron and Perry from the WJ's but other than that there was no one else.

I believe Nash was a big failure. Iginla did better with him, way better.

instead you hinder our one and only winger prospect by putting him on the 3rd line or even 4th line like they did with jeffrey

i really hope shero gets a top 6 winger and shows you how wrong you are... hindering bennetts ability is far worse then hurting dupes feelings by putting him on the 3rd line, where it would be more balanced offense and he would help the 3rd lineproduce more plus his defensive abailities would make that 3rd line stronger....

edit: putting dupes on 3rd line is demoting him... when he is a 2-3rd liner playing on the 1st line... if a top 6 winger comes in he is odd man out...

- nh4442

The only person who is wrong here is you. Shero is not going to get a top 6 winger. Pascal Dupuis is going no where except Sidney Crosby's Right Wing. Explain to me how it makes sense to break up the best line in the NHL? Dupuis and Kunitz are far from superstars, but they are the perfect wingers for Sid. Shero is not going to try to fix something that is not broken. He will address issues that actually make sense unlike your argument.

Expiring LW contract - it has to be one of the following - Brendan Morrow; Clark McArthur; Mason Raymond or Chris Higgins. I wouldn't mind taking a chance with Raymond.

Edmonton shouldn't need to be scouting the Pens - Smid or Fistric don't warrant a roster player back.

Boston isn't going to strike a deal with the Pens and vice versa.

San Jose doesn't need to send a scout to watch Pittsburgh - Clowe doesn't warrant a roster player. Tampa - same thing, unless Purcell is a guy Pittsburgh is looking at.

Winnipeg - don't see a match. We have already done our deal with them.

Calgary with two scouts there scares me. Don't want Iggy. Hopefully its more about Glencross, Stempniak or Giordano.

Higgins played great on Vancouver's cup finals run a few years back. Have not seen much of him lately.

Killian you just can't make that inference. Remember in 08-09 season? We had Satan and Sykora sitting and both were top 6 material (even though they were on decline). I could see him bring a top 6 for a run or somebody that is used to jump from 3rd to 2nd line.

We've been trying for over 2 years. Dupuis killed nh's cat or slept with a lady from his past. We're not sure what he did but there is no convincing him that Dupuis is a good fit there. Even if they win the cup he will say it would have taken less games to do so with a better winger.

It's futile.

Were Satan, Sykora and Crosby making up the best line in hockey?

I'm not getting into it. I'm just saying we can/could/will bring a top 6 material to play in all kind of situations. Depth is needed if somebody goes down. And the better the competition, the harder you work.

and here comes one of the sheeps, as bartley would say

If I had said anything stupid I would understand...you just don't get it and only reads what interests you. I was talking about depth, not taking Dupuis or whoever out of the lineup. Is Morrow a depth move, definitely.

Here is the part you missed and that you probably know I'm right:

Morrow used to play on the 1st line, so that works.

Is dupes having a good year, yes. did he have a good year last year, yes. Does he have chemistry with sid, yes (except all those missed shots and passes). Is he a top 6 winger, NO. Is he the only option right now, yes. If the pens bring in a top 6 winger does he move to 3rd line, yes!

If they do not get a top 6 winger then he stays, im not saying he should be moved for anyone currently on the roster. But they arent going to go after a top 6 wnger, get one and then make that winger play 3rd line...

AND if they do get a winger and keep 1st line intact and move bennett down to 3rd line, I think that would be wrong as well...
