Yeah I know, but long term I'm pretty sure people were licking their chops over Tangradi. Kunitz looked like a solid pick up at the time. Definitely a guy to help in their cup run. But he's turned into much more here. Tangradi was pushed like he'd be a star. That was the point.
- HopintheCordoba

Tangradi never developed his speed much or stick handling while in WBS. He just has a low hockey IQ and don't work his stick very well.

I highly doubt TK or Dupuis are going anywhere, but then again I am not Ray Shero.
- Killian

meant to say dupes moved to 3rd line if shero gets a top 6 winger.. my bad

Agreed. Too slow. Always got positioned down low once the set plays were being run. Always a tad late on the rush. Managed to put up some points. Maybe a part of things was the staff and other part him. Either way just no good. I'm pretty sure he thought he was a much smaller man too.

Dupuis, no. No shot. Most of us already have TK's bags packed for him.

- HopintheCordoba

And I can't understand why. Everyone on here has been quick to hate on TK this season except me. I really don't think he is playing that bad. I think it is awesome defensively...that line RARELY allows an even strength goal and they are commonly matched up against the other teams top forwards. He is relentless on the forecheck, he skates hard, and he finishes his checks. The only complaint I have is that he either misses the net by 2 feet, or shoots the puck directly in the chest of the goalie is most cases. I love him on our 3rd line and I will be sad to see him go.

And you have to wonder why he doesn't work in front of the net most of the times. I think his stick work is awful. But then again some might say he didn't have the chance he deserved...

Yeah, I may or may not have got in on that. We saw it over the past few years. Lasted too long if you ask me. Hindsight is 20/20.

- Killian

How about that huge hit Beau laid on Hillen last night, that was impressive.

Fair enough. One way or another there just wasn't any translation to the ice. He's one of those guys that is too nice on the ice just like he is off it. Never fit the top 6 and didn't have enough grit to play in the bottom 6.

Injury prone is a strong word ...the guy played 82, 75, 76 games the last 3 seasons.

If Ott is on Buffalo's 1st line that team is screwed up!Forget about him. You'd have to part with a small fortune to pry him away from Buf.

- Orpik44

Glass and Clowe have the same amount of goals this year. I was a big Clowe supporter but given his performance this year I've changed sides especially when I'm sure San Jose will want assets based off past performance.

Moving Duper to the 3rd line sends the wrong message to the team.

There are people who have disliked how Tyler Kennedy has played in the past, I haven't had those same issues with him. This year however he has not played to the previous standard he has set. While he has not been good this year, he has been better recently. He still is a shell of the quality third line player he has shown he can be.

I've been fine with him in the past. He had been rather important when Crosby and Malkin were out. Staal too. He just doesn't create much. Too often he either passes or shoots at the wrong time and he misses. I wish he was doing better but that doesn't add up to anything. I will say this: he's scored at important moments this year. That's not enough.

so ur telling me if they get iggy or ryan or whoever else a top 6 player is you want to move kuni?

let me guess you want to move dupes down to the 2nd line and move bennett to the 3rd where his talents will never flourish and he will be a jeffrey 2.0 version..

dupes would help the 3rd line out more then bennett would

That seems like a lot of assumptions. I think the point is, Duper has earned his spot with Crosby and Kunitz. His speed and hands are underrated. We have no idea what trade(s) may happen. Right now, Duper is a key cog on the 1st line.

Tangradi is getting less ice time in Winnipeg than Pitt. Partly the product of a team taxing their better players to try to actually make the playoffs. They should move him again to Phoenix or Nashville. He hasnt shown much, but he needs to play at this level to see if he can make it.

NH I'm not sure what else Dupes has to do to convince you he's a good fit on that top line? I wouldn't spend the assets for a top 6 winger. We are never out of games because we can score in bunches. Iginla isn't coming here. Shero is not going to win a bidding war with more desperate teams. If shero does nothing again this year it's because again the prices were way to high. I don't blame him.

tk playing his best hockey the last 4 or 5. still wouldn't mind a bigger player on that line dropping tk to the 4th in place of glass.

People on the Leafs board are hating Grabovski's contract now and are talking about buying him out. Apparently Carlyle does not like him.

I think he's a wonderful player.

Wow. Maybe they'll try and package him for Getzlaf and Perry. They really need that 1--2 punch for the playoffs.

Seriously though, what a shame. I thought he was one of the good pieces on that team.

Wouldn't be against either. You have to wonder if they could bring an offensive 2 way player to play with Cooke and Sutter. Both have great hockey IQ and feed off each ther and with another piece they could make that line very dangerous.

TK on the 4th is not a bad thing.

The Leafs used 10 shooters in Saturday's shootout--- he was not one of them...yeah i would say the coach does not like him... I think he is a good, albeit overpaid player.

How about putting Iginla on the third line when Shero trades for him-- he has enough grit and would add to the scoring depth--- I will now dodge everyone's assualts
