i thought it was. hes got 30 this year and 70 last year - hugefemale dog77
and you think that equates to "being healthy for a full season now"? Playing 100 games over two seasons?
If you really think that, you really need to get a clue. But in reality, you got caught making a stupid statement, and now you're trying to backpedal. |

Would Hemsky, Klefbom and two Oilers 1st round picks be worth more than 5 - 1sts from Philly...a team we know is going to be drafting later than 15 all five seasons? I think so. - Maxbone
Well really it is Hemsky, Klefbom, 2 firsts + 25million dollars they've paid for weber vs five first from philly and the 25million they would have saved.
Both teams first rd picks will be low first round barring something unforeseen so Hemsky & Klefbom or 3 more first round picks and a $25mil savings. It seems a pretty obvious choice to me considering Hemsky's value is pretty low.
I agree Nashville will want one of the big 4 and given their fun with Radulov/Kositsyn they probably don't want anything to do with Yakupov.
Weber isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Nashville should have to throw in Rinne if they're getting Hemsky AND Klefbom....you are brutal. |

If you were a Predators fan, would you be okay with this deal? - NickTheKid87
Assuming I understood that the contract had to be moved but it didn't necessarily seem like that in the public eye, I would take Hemsky, Yak, Klefbom, 2 firsts. Or, Smid in stead of Hemsky. No less. |

wtf??
how so? first, when did i ever qualify my statement?
and he can only be healthy from one point on. who cares when it was he came back.
since hes been back, he hasnt missed a game in over a hundred. just as i said. how is this backpedaling? he hasnt just played 100 over 2 full seasons. this season is less than half done. and he hasnt missed any of it. and played the bulk of last as well. without missing any games after he returned.
you notice how i reiterated the same point over and over? this is for your benefit because you apparently dont understand simple concepts. i thought u were an accountant or some sh1t. jesus
are u trying to be a douche or is it just in your nature? wtf are u talking about??
hes hasnt missed a game in OVER a full 82 games actually.
stupid statements!!!?? do u wanna be the pot, or the kettle? |

I take that back. If I was NSH, I would ask for Hemsky, Yak, Klefbom and 2 firsts, but settle on Yak, Marincin, Peckham, 2013 2nd, 2014 1st. |

The Oil need to test drive this team first and go from there. New coach, rookies, and other pick ups so far = new team. Test drive the car first and then decide where to add expensive components. Defensively they could surprise. Forwards will contribute a lot more defense under Ralph's system too. Goaltending is the big question mark. Weber's contract will haunt him and his team down the road. Klefbom is worth the wait and could even surpass Weber one day. |

If you were talking Taylor Hall + Klefbom + a 1st (either this year or next), I'd agree with you but you gotta be kidding if you think the trade you proposed would land EDM Weber. - NickTheKid87
I would do this deal. Hall is great and all but for how risky he plays I'll take Weber. |

It's becoming obvious very few people have any clue about Oscar Klefbom's potential and how he's regarded as a prospect. - Maxbone

Healthy for Ales Hemsky means playing 70-75 of 82 games in a year. There is no version of Ales Hemsky that actually plays 82 games in a year, and there never will be.
However, dude can still score, and I'd say tambs has made the evaluation that those 70 games are worth it. He may be wrong, but let's not kid ourselves that the oilers are counting on (hoping for) hemsky to put up 90 points in 82 games + playoffs anymore. Those days have passed, but he could still be a reliable support guy from here on out if he stays "Hemsky-Healthy" |
