A wise decision. With their youth and the injuries that will strike most older teams in a condensed season, I can see EDM making the playoffs this year.

I would agree. If Day 1 of camp is anything to go by, this season will be a bloodbath of injuries. It would be good to play these spare part Dmen as often as we can get away with during the season. The team that wins this year's Cup will be the contender that is most healthy come playoff time.

Hopefully it won't be in a similar situation like when Ballard and Bieksa are paired together in SCF again, or Alberts/Rome getting top 4 minutes or we have Salo playing with ruptured balls!(what a warrior )
