Neither Lucic or Tuukka are going to be busts. They both can play at a high level and are battle tested. Tuukka deserves to be in the top 5 for goaltending based off his numbers and body of work in his career. Hes previous starting season he had outstanding numbers.

So, you would take both theses guys in the first 3 rounds of a fantasy draft?
I'm not saying they won't be decent picks. I'm saying there will be a a lot of players that are a heck of a lot better picked after them.
Anyone need a location?
Andrew Shaw will be as good as Lucic in fantasy hockey.

Ian, that is the worst fantasy team I've ever seen.
How many guys in the pool, 32?
Wow, no offense, but Kesler as your 2nd center? ouch.
Since I'm giving your team a hard ride, I'll put my out and let you do the same.
Keep in mind it's 12 teams, points only (I had 8th pick).

Lucic no, but Tuukka yes. If Im taking a goalie in the first 3 rounds, Tuukka will be on my radar. Look at the team he is playing for, the Bruins are going to be one of the power houses in the NHL this season and having Tuukka will equate to wins in fantasy leagues.
I think having a healthy Horton and Krejci who has been playing during the lockout will translate into higher point production from Lucic. That line is very good when healthy.

20 teams, had the number 10 pick. we use G,A, PIM,+/-, HITS,BLK, and I think shots
If anyone can land Henrique at 283, that would be the steal of the year. This kid impressed the hell out of me in the playoffs and can only get better.

No Parise... a Kovalchuk wanting to be in Russia... I don't see Henrique having the same year as last year.

Based on the stats you said, I'd be very worried about a few things. 1. In a shortened season which can see as many as 10 games in a little over 2 weeks, the Kesler pick is puzzling. If he misses a month, or a little over a month, he'll be a wasted pick.
Since you're taking PIMs and Blcks into account, I like the Clutterbuck pick, but feel he may get less ice time with the new players coming in.
Brunner and Shaw are sleeper picks, which could be beauty or bust
Hard to tell how strong the team is without seeing what your competition is.
Second, I prefer the live auction drafts more. A lot more strategy in the picks and everyone can go for anyone they want.
