Yes, he’s perfectly decent defensively. Selke candidate? No, I never said that. But I’ll tell you this much, he’s the one carrying the load defensively on that line. While they’ve improved a little in that respect, it sure as hell isn’t Lupul or Kessel.

Cammelleri is overpaid and not good at all. Knight will not play in the NHL.

So really just Seguin and Hamilton, and Burke has Gardiner, Reilly, Finn, Percy, and Kessel to make up for it.

One trade does not make a franchise, but many smart moves do.

Too much is maid of the Kessel trade, but has Seguin out produced Kessel? NO!

Kessel is as of this moment the best player in that trade.
