You obviously aren't a very educated leafs fan if you want to trade anything at all for Luo. If you have followed the leafs for anytime longer than the last 8 years you would know how many times the leafs have been burned in trading for aging veterans as "stop gaps"

The answer is building prospects, acquiring youth and not handicapping yourself with long contracts on aging players.

No, just the stupid ones. People who don't drool know that our defense is not at all physical and that with the trade of Luke Schenn he might be, dare I say it, an integral part of the team. Also, due to Leafs fans pentiant for mobbing up on a guy, it might suprise casual observers to know that he has never been as bad as he's made out to be. Also, compared to other sixth NHL defensemen, he is a real upgrade. His contract is his only problem and since its not precluding management from upgrading, its not a real problem.
