Sorry that the city of Toronto had the money and the interest in hockey for them to even have a team at that time. Sorry that the Leafs were one of the founding members of the NHL and are the reason why it still exists today. Sorry that the Leafs helped pave the way and build the foundations so that teams like the Canucks could come into existence.
