Just gonna say that, since almost everyone knows you're a canucks fan, your act lost quite a bit of its luster. But still, keep going.

Is your degree in probability theory kicking in on this one?

Or was that the degree in literature?

No, it was probably something that spawned from the critical thinking class.

Or maybe mycokes was right and the Red Wings scout you were talking to, doubles as a scout for the Detroit Tigers and gave you that wonderful little piece of information.

- Two_For_Truth

You are confusing me with Jimmy_T. He has a degree in probability theory. Or at least, he probably does.

I am jimmy_tea. I have a degree in lit (a masters from Ryerson) and I actually do teach Critical thinking. I don't expect you to believe me., but its true.

I can't remember the last time the Canucks lost a game to the Leafs... or had less points during the regular season... or didn't make it as far in the playoffs.

Only 1 team wins the Cup every year, and for some strange reason you Leafs fans think that makes you equal to the other 28 teams that didn't win the Cup.

2003/2004.....

Also in 2001/2002, 2000/2001, 1999/2000, 1998/1999, 1997/1998, 1995/1996, 1994/1995, 1993/1994.

You become a fan after the lockout perchance?

Zero chance you're the same guy.

I mean, what are the odds that a guy who claims to have a degree in probability theory and can't figure out basic math is the exact same guy as a guy who claims to have a degree in literature and can't compose a single sentence without at least one glaring grammar or spelling error?

Zero.

It really does mean jack all. Unless the NHL started awarding special Cup winning banners for beating the Leafs or placing higher in the standings and only you know about it.

No, ask the Canucks. Now that's a team that hasn't won anything. Like literally, ever.

From the hockey forcaster scouting report on Carter Ashton "Failed to score in 15 games but he is huge and has a high ceiling. Potential steal for the Leafs"

Not sure why Ashton is always a guy people hate one. Also, Bozak is our best centre. Actually your trade makes me want to puke. As I said, I'd give them the choice of Frattin/Colbourne and Percey/Finn gotta give up something to get something. Thats just me though. I think Aston probably is better than Frattin long term and that Bozak is going to have to be our Batista.

Just stop please! You're just an idiot who can't even troll properly.

The 70's the Leafs were a good team

The 80's the franchise was in turmoil because of their owner. Even then we were still better then the Canucks. We still had better talent Salming,Derlago,Vaive,Clark,Thomas, "Leeman, Courtnall. Your best player was Stan Smyl ffs! The other Canuck stars of the 80's were Tanti,Skriko,Gradin,Snepts and Cam Neely(oops! Make that Barry Pederson). That's nothing to brag about pal.

The 90's the leafs played the 2nd most playoff games after the Red Wings and were a contender for most of the decade.

The 2000's the Leafs started strong until the dreaded lockout and haven't rebounded since but we are getting there.

There hasn't been a cup in over 40 years but it hasn't been all bad.
The canucks have been good for the past few years but still no cup and they are now on the downslide. I guess you can say that the Canucks haven't been to impressive well ever.

Do you take great pride in catching the bride's bouquet at weddings and strongly adhere to the saying, always a bridesmaid but never a bride?

No he's right, Bozak is the next Tony Batista. He will overachieve and have a good season because of the talent he plays around and then he'll be out of the league in a few years. Or he'll be the next Miguel Batista and have a long career and not do much and go unnoticed for 8 years.

Yes. Yes I do. I have very fond memories of it. I'm going to guess that your memories aren't as favorable.

Don't be comparing our two teams through history because when they met face to face (when it really mattered in a conference final) the leafs looked foolish.
