With his recent success in the KHL, particularly on the left side, I would love to give Yakupov a test run on the top line with Nuge and Eberle. If he flounders move him down to the second line for easier minutes, and if he flourishes keep him there and see if these comparisons to Ovi and Bure hold any truth. That also keeps Hall with a high-quality playmaker that we all know Hemsky can be.

I can't see how having Hall up there would change that, and if you put Hartikainen up there you potentially limit the production from that line. I'd hardly say that they'd pushed around in the corners either. Eberle has show a distinct aptitude for winning corner battles, and Yakupov, while unproven, has been known to play a good deal larger than he is (potentially a problem for durability).

Nuge and Hall are both over 6' 1" and filling out. Eberle is 5' 11". Not a "small" line by any means. This line is gold and I dont know why you would want to (frank) around with it.
