Hall of a Center

Here's a little update while I have a minute in between tasks...

Taylor Hall will begin to play for the Oklahoma City Barons of the AHL very soon. When he does, he won't be playing the wing. Yep, the Oilers are trying out Hall at center. Sounds like a brilliant idea to me.

Hall to center actually solves a number of issues. Both Ales Hemsky and Nail Yakupov can play the left side, so make the Oilers Top 6:

L1: Hemsky/Nugent-Hopkins/Eberle
L2: Hartikainen or Paajarvi/Hall/Yakupov

Obviously, this depth chart shows Hall to center spells curtains for Sam Gagner in Edmonton. If some of the recent speculation is correct, Gagner and perhaps a couple other assets will be moved to add a defenseman of quality or Roberto Luongo.

Hall to center, if he can play the position successfully, excites me.
