Agreed, but Snow would look foolish if he now turns around and trades Visnovsky for a third or 4th round pick to a team like Detroit after acquiring him for a second round pick. - Nucker101
The isles needed an NHL ready dman..........the last thing they need is more draft picks. |

This is true but after you find out you cut ties. Trade him. etc... Figure out a trade to help your team and make him part of it. I would never want a player on my team who so outwardly didn't want to be a part of it. - Cptmjl
How could you trade rights that were in dispute? The Isles had to resolve this before they could move forward. |

Amazing how the Isles would actually want to bring players in that don't want to be apart of the organization. I'm sure they make great role models for the young players on the team. Wang needs to go before this organization can be taken seriously again. - Nucker101
makes it sound like this is the first time a player has been upset that he was traded...to any team.
dont read into that, id be fine if wang sold (assuming the teams stays) and i know ryan smith cried when he came to the islanders so no need to post that picture, my point is players get traded, whether they like it or not, its part of the business they are in. |

Of course. Speaking about the present tense. They won't trade him which even if I don't agree with it its probably the best idea. The next player they traded for would just feel the same way. As long as Wang is our owner and Snow is our GM nobody will want to come here. |

let me know how keeping Luongo works out for you.
sorry, snappish response. I think all Isles fans know how crazy and off the wall our owner is, as well as how frustrating it is to continually go after players in trades only to be rebuffed. Nabakov resigned, so it's not too far off to expect others who may initially not want to go to the Isles to change their tune on arrival when they become part of the team. Others don't, if Snow only went after players who wanted to be Islanders, then chances are the whole team would be made up of Staios's and Jurcinas. It is frustrating as an Isles fan who grew up watching the four cups to see this franchise being talked about like a second rate team. Makes us all a little short tempered to the typical comments we get all day, every day. |

Unfortunately, I would have to agree...well, they'd still rather play for your team than the Leafs. |

Amazing how some people fail to see how fortunate they really are. For $3 million a season, I'd live in Rosie O'Donnell's anus. |

Absolutely. That's why you package him with something else to acquire another player that doesn't want to be here - Cptmjl

Dee Karl: Lubo is an ISLE!
ruling is in. - Dee Karl
Just listened to the interview with Snow/Wang and Crappy at the draft. Both spoke about this seasons goal is playoffs. That was last seasons goal. My question is if the isles dont make the playoffs, what happens to Snow and Crappy? Crappy loves to talk about accountability..........I didnt think that word existed on this team.
Side note: Interesting stat from Crappy............the isles were the only team in the league that didnt score a 5 on 3 goal. To me this speaks volumes, because 90 percent of the time if you dont score on a 5 on 3 goal you dont win the game. |

That's an interesting stat. Considering Weight built an NFL binder type playbook for the PP and it was a plus from the year prior. But yes, a team gets shut down 5 on 3, odds are not in their favor to win. |

Taking Komiserak probably would cause discussion in here. Some people wouldn't mind him. Change of scenerey, playing in hometown....
Personally, you can keep him. He might lose 9 out of 10 races down the ice to a goalie in full pads, let alone a young forward. |

The only thing that will happen is Wang giving another interview with Howie saying Snow and Cappy did a great job. They listened to all my orders and never questioned anything. |

On the flip side however, the Isles were 11th in the league in terms of goals scored 5 on 4 while having the 28th overall amount of 5 on 4 PP time. |

I thought the PP the last few years has been better than years past, but not good enough. Special teams wins games....

I like Komisarek personally..........is he a top 2 dman, NO. But, he's certainly not the problem with the leafs. I wouldnt give up prospect for him, because of that salary, but i would not mind him on my team. Good character guy |
