Be on the lookout for three suspects fleeing the Madison Square Garden area late Saturday evening:

The first suspect, male, 23 years old, 6 foot 2, Russian born Nikolai Zherdev stands accused of streaking down the ice and releasing a heinous shot with barely 8 seconds of game time left that blew past Marc Andre-Fluery causing his Gatorade bottle to twirl up in the air. This brutal shameless act caused a near riot from the 18,200 witnesses. Some statements were taken from a selection of witnesses, which included, "Go Rangers!!" "Rangers rule man!!!" "8-2-1 baby!!!" clearly these witnesses were still in state of shell-shock.

The next suspect, 25 years old, 6 foot 1, Swedish Fredrik Sjostrom has been reported seen scoring a shootout game winner; allegedly he has committed the same crime against Toronto earlier this very month. This man must be stopped at all costs before he could strike again.

Lastly, another Swede named Henrik Lundqvist, a.k.a. Hank a.k.a. the King, who has eluded authorities many times over, is once again accused of highway robbery. Reports are still being filed by the NHL authorities, but a tape has been released of his performance in the overtime period Saturday night and the details are not for the faint of heart. Images of multiple gloves saves, pad saves on rebounds and the most gruesome… a glove save snatching a shot out of the air at the last second, which was deflected off the leg of his own defenseman. Then to make matters even worse his acts during the shootout, namely stopping poor innocent Sydney Crosby to clinch the win was the most horrifying of all. The man is a fiend!

Other accomplices include Markus Naslund, who set the table for the steal with a timely power play goal early in the third period. Who should be also mentioned is the struggling Petr Prucha who drew the very penalty in which Naslund was able to capitalize on. Prucha's play is looking to earn him another game start on the notorious Voros-Dubinsky line for tonight's game. Both Aaron Voros and Brandon Dubinsky are still currently at large.

Not only did the Rangers steal 2 points from Pittsburgh on Saturday, but they pulled nearly the same crime in Columbus, Ohio on Friday night. In both games these criminals were held at bay for the opening periods. Some believe that they just were simply playing possum, then suddenly they strike when their victims are unaware. Others say that travel could be involved in their early game play, but in any case the results were the same. It has been reported that 4 points total were plundered over the weekend.

Multiple blockades are being put up in a 20 mile radius of Manhattan Island. Authorities believe this team of vagabonds might be headed towards Uniondale, Long Island to once again pilfer yet another 2 points. Will the injury battered and struggling Islanders be up for the task?

I will be surveying the game alongside esteemed colleague B.D. Gallof, who I happened to have spawned out of the same uterus as. We'll be attempting a simultaneous live chat Sibling Rivalry, as B.D. reports live from the Islanders blog box and I live from my cushy sofa.
