This is what I heard this morning from a top source. While it's not news that NHL players have allegedly been told this, this was the first I heard of Hawk players specifically being told. Friday, I'm told also, is the day to look for an announcement. The sides "are getting close."

Quiet night tonight as far as Hawk prospects go, however tomorrow finds Rockford, Rouyn-Noranda (Dillon Fournier), Prince Albert (Mark McNeill) and Portland (Mac Carruth) all playing. I will try to post a report late tomorrow night, as I am travelling Saturday.
