If I were Jimmy Vesey I'd sign with the Pittsburgh Penguins without thinking twice. I think he will be a good player but he's being overhyped and probably isn't capable of making the impact many seem to expect. In saying that, Pittsburgh is the best landing spot for him if he wants to play over his head and give himself a better chance of making more money after his first contract.
Why? Well, there's a good chance he'd be lining up alongside Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin - two of the most dominant players of this era - on a nightly basis.
In Pittsburgh he'd have a good chance to win and a good chance to inflate his totals to help ensure he gets a nice 2nd contract. That's tough to pass up.

Let's got off the board here from the rumoured teams and go New Jersey, that's where Vesey should sign.
Of the teams interested it's the least sexy of the cities but what's the alternative? He is most likely looking for more than the winning bidder but what they can offer and who has more in terms of ice time and opportunity than NJ? Sure the Leafs and Buffalo are building to the future but did either of them add Taylor Hall?
While it's easy to see why Pittsburgh or Chicago would be attracted to Vesey and attractive to him, do they present the same type of playing opportunity? Perhaps only Boston, a team looking for some identity and direction, matches the Devils. But let's go with the long shot and hope Vesey signs with with Devils because this never-ending saga needs a twist at the ending.
