Sure the Leafs and Buffalo are building to the future but did either of them add Taylor Hall?
You're 100% correct, they have 2 guys named Eichel and Mathews that will soon be better than Hall.
Besides Hall, name one other game changing offensive weapon on the Devils? |

Oh stop already. The homerism is unbearable, the jersey blogger says jersey, the flyers fan says philly, on and on.
Truth is Chicago or Pitt is probably the best option if you want to win now, Toronto or buffalo if you want top 6 mins and to be a real part of a new exciting time, and philly, Rangers, jersey or Bruins if you just want to make a bad decision. I don't see any of those teams on the upswing, and rangers are the only ones with a serious playoff shot. |

Besides the fact that offensive is only part of the game and I know you don't want to talk about defense or goaltending, the Devils had two 30 goal scorers last year in Palmeri and Henrique. How many were in Buffalo?
Also, Cammalleri is also a good offensive player when he can stay healthy. You guys score 17 more goals last year.

I agree i mean Hall is great but who will his center be on the Devils. I mean Adam Henrique is good player but i much rather play with Mathews, Eichel or O'Reilly. I think Devils have no shot at him. They are in a Division with Pit and Capitals. |

Henrique & Palmieri each had 30 goal seasons. Then their is also Cammalleri when he is health. So, next year there are at least 4 guys who have the potential to score 30 goals. Point being, with the addition of Hall, the Devils are a lot better up front than most people think. Plus, if we did land Vesey, we would be even stronger; then add in our d/goal-tending and I think the Devils could be respectable.
All that said, I still would be shocked if he picks the Devils. |

Lupul is also a good offensive player when he can stay healthy, but you won't find many Leafs fans who will brag about him. |

You cant honestly tell me that you think Devils are better team the sabres or Leafs. They are so much better of then the devils it is not even funny. |

Bergeron and Krejci tend to make their wingers pretty good too, just in case centers are his only selling points judging by the predictions. If he's looking for the least amount of pressure than yes, he should sign with the devils and play in front of their 250 fans.
