Update:

*Hearing Columbus was in on Luongo, but found he was going to Toronto so traded for Bobrovsky.

*There are reports Tim Thomas has waived his No-trade. That happened ages ago as he did so that Boston could get cap relief. There is nothing new on Thomas today at all.

* Despite reports to the contrary, I am now confident the Canadiens do NOT intend to take Teravainen at #3.

To see the most current team speculation on all the possible trade-able players and some comments updated regularly, go to The Rumor Chart. Players are added and adjusted throughout the days as to what percentages I feel are their most likely destinations based on the hundreds of phone calls, emails, texts, IMs and telegrams I receive.

The common theme here is when it comes to these stars...the teams are at least saying..."we have all summer to get this done."

On Bobby Ryan:

Hearing the Flyers may be the closest, but rumors about the Flyers getting the 6th overall as well as Ryan may be premature. Hearing the Ducks aren't trying to move the pick. Things can change. The Flyers love the Cherry Hill NJ native and this would mark the 7th consecutive draft the Flyers have tried to deal for Bobby Ryan. Also hearing the Sabres, Rangers, Habs, Penguins, Toronto...and the list goes on..

On Jordan Staal...

While Carolina is the logical place, It sounds like the Sabres may try to bring him in as a rental to convince him of the merits of being a Sabre. Also...hearing Phoenix could take a shot as a rental. Problem is...what can Pittsburgh get if people think Staal will bolt to Carolina next season no matter what.

On Luongo...

A player I really thought would be going later...may actually be the closest to making a deal...Toronto of course, but I keep hearing Chicago...

On Nash...

Some new creative deals coming in...including a deal involving Yandle as a possibility.

On Parise...

Here is where it is getting REALLY interesting. I have heard from two sources that Ottawa's talk about Nash may actually be a smokescreen to put forth great offer for Parise. I believe the chances are greater than 60% Parise is moved tonight...The Wild are in on this too...one source said, "Buyer beware. You could trade for his rights and he could still head to the West coast if that is where he wants to go." With Parise it is not as much about money as it is about being "the man" on the team he goes to...

On Yandle...

Montreal for sure...Pittsburgh absolutely...also know the Flyers are looking into this and for the right price...
