They went up 12 points in the seller direction. Better play and PLENTY of cap space put the Avalanche in a very interesting position...
#2. Winnipeg
The Jets are beginning to separate themselves from the pack, and a whole slew of prospects and a healthy amount of Cap Space could tempt Chevy to make a tweak or two...
#3. Calgary
The Flames are working the phones like crazy and the numbers would back up that they are strong buyers for the first time in a few years...
#4. Vegas
The Knights numbers are tricky because there is no way of knowing what they will or even should do here...I would guess they just ride this group out...however they SHOULD be buyers were they not an expansion team...
#5. Nashville
The Preds ALWAYS make a move or two about this point...
Teams looking less and less like buyers...
#1. LA Kings
While they continue to play well, their margin of error is shrinking fast and they could find themselves out of the playoffs...
#2. Vancouver
The only team in the West to slip from a buyer to seller as over the last 30 days they have plummeted 12 points..
#3. St Louis
The Blues are still buyers, but they dropped 10 points on the chart due to various factors...falling from #1 to #4 in just over 30 days is unusual.
#4. San Jose
The Sharks don't have a lot of room to play with and are on the outside looking in right now...
#5. Edmonton
Expectations and some space are still keeping them as possible buyers...for now.
