Quick update as the calls are coming in fast and furious today and did into the night last night as european contacts kept hitting me with further information

Tanguay is going to get the last big paycheck out there it appears. I have updated him on the rumor chart and currently the two Florida teams are making a big push according to sources in Montreal. Meanwhile, several Avalanche players are canvassing management for his return to Colorado.

The Islanders may be fading a bit now that the price tag is getting over 5 per.

The Sabres are looking at Tanguay, Kyle Calder and Rob Niedermayer.

Chris Stevenson in the Edmonton Sun today reports that the Oilers patience with Heatley as he tries to decide whether or not to go to Edmonton is almost finished.
