From one league source: "There is no question that Matt Duchene is available. Many teams have informed me of this. The price is high and there are some teams Colorado WON'T talk to out there..." I believe this is the primary target right now of Buffalo and Montreal....with NJ and Columbus keeping close tabs, but not overly optimistic at this point.
On JvR....
It made sense before, and I looked for it before, but it was not until today that I finally started hearing some really credible discussions surrounding James van Riemsdyk being moved. The Islanders and Flyers are both in on this one. It would appear the Flyers have the right combination that the Leafs are looking for, but the Islanders may be willing to go even higher.
On Landeskog...
The Bruins have backed off a bit because they won't match the price. Landeskog and Duchene are both carrying huge price tags...as they should.
On Iginla...
Beyond Calgary, keep a close watch here on the Wild. They are most surely going to be in this one...
