I am down at the Wachovia Center. Getting stuff for my off-day blog. The mood down here for the Flyers is more relaxed yet very determined. No real perceptible difference from yesterday.

Coach Laviolette was raving about Ville Leino today, noting that he really has a great deal of respect for his work ethic as well as Ville as a person. Laviolette noted how Ville's work ethic has never wavered. From the moment he was traded here and scratched the first number of games, until now when he has become an integral part of the team..

The Coach said Ville is a great person. Always happy and really having a ton of fun out there. Last night Laviolette mentioned how great Ville was with the puck and his seemingly endless energy.

"You can double shift him. Sometimes back to back shifts."

I asked Leino after yesterday's morning skate if he was having more fun in this Cup Final than last year's Final when he skated with the Red Wings and he said, "Yes I am. It's great to be a bigger part of the team. More responsibility."

Former Flyer Joffrey Lupul twittered last night at twitter.com/jlupul: "Who the hell is this Leino and where did he come from??? He is unbelievable!!"

One thing is for certain. A hell of a trade by Paul Holmgren.
